Data Protection

1) We do not store any personal data unless we have your prior permission and all data is stored securely.

2) By registering any of your personal details with us, you are agreeing to allow us to contact you to provide the information that you request relating to our products or services.

3) We may reveal your personal information, which may include your name and contact address to our preapproved service providers that carry out certain services on our behalf.

4) Apart from this, we will under no circumstances sell, exchange or otherwise give your personal information to third parties.

Home Surveys & Quotation Service

We offer a home survey design and quotation service to customers within a 15 mile radius of Colchester, Essex. This involves visiting your property to measure your kitchen and / or bathroom and discussing your requirements for the room. The information gathered will then be used by us to generate 3D Design visuals and to provide you with an accurate quotation for our goods and services to be provided to you. This is a no obligation service and there is no charge for this.

Should you require a quotation for insurance purposes only, there will be a charge to provide all relevant paperwork required in order to pass on to your insurers.

The 3D Design visuals are available to view from the showroom and are issued to you upon entering a contract with us to proceed with the supply of goods and services.

Should you require copies of the design visuals prior to entering a contract with us, then these are available to purchase for £420.00 including VAT. The cost would be removed from the total balance of the contract, should you then decide to proceed.

Payment schedule

Should you decide to proceed with the works as set out in the quotation we provide to you then a breakdown of payments are as follows:

Supply of goods only

50% deposit payment required to proceed with the order.

50% remaining balance due 3 days prior to delivery or upon collection of goods from our showroom.

Supply and installation service

15% deposit payment required in order to proceed and book your installation date. This deposit is fully refundable up to 8 weeks from the date of the transaction, after which time you will forfeit your rights to a refund should you terminate your contract with us.

75% payment due upon the start of installation

10% remaining balance due upon completion. You will be issued with a Final Invoice itemising any agreed extra goods or services carried out during the installation period. The remaining balance along with any additional charge that may occur as a result of extra services and / or goods will be due within 5 working days from the date of your invoice.

Kitchen & Bathroom Guarantees

Each guarantee starts from the date of the original purchase and for the period stated.

Avalon Kitchens Guarantee

Avalon Kitchens offer a 10 year guarantee. This applies to units and doors only and excludes colour fade, due to mellowing or sunlight. Any claims must be made as soon as the fault becomes apparent by the original purchaser, through the retailer whom the product was purchased. Guarantee covers domestic installation only. Liability does not cover consequential loss or damage, refitting or redress for same.

Eco Kitchens Guarantee

Eco Kitchens offer a 10 year guarantee. This applies to units and doors only and excludes colour fade, due to mellowing or sunlight. Any claims must be made as soon as the fault becomes apparent by the original purchaser, through the retailer whom the product was purchased. Guarantee covers domestic installation only. Liability does not cover consequential loss or damage, refitting or redress for same.

Eco Bathrooms Guarantee

Eco Bathrooms furniture carries a 5 year guarantee, from the date of purchase, covering failure through defects in design and manufacture and material failure. It is essential that products have been installed to the instruction guidelines and maintained in accordance to the care requirements. Eco Bathrooms undertake repair or replace at their discretion. Liability does not cover consequential loss or damage, refitting or redress for same.
